Contacta V is a series of hearing loop drivers. The series consists of four amplifiers, the V7, V15, V15a and V22. The Class-D amplifiers are manufactured in the United Kingdom and designed to produce the best sound quality. Unlike many conventional amplifiers, the V series does not require a fan, but is equipped with passive cooling. This results in quiet, light and maintenance-friendly products.
The ring line amplifiers have excellent Automatic Gain Control, sleep mode and smart self-diagnosis. The amplifiers combine DSP with Class-D technology. Due to the efficiency of the amplifiers, minimal heat is generated. There is therefore no fan, but passive cooling inside. The hearing loop drivers are also equipped with thermal protection. In addition, a powerful processor gives peak power where needed, for first-class music quality and lifelike speech reproduction. This way, the amplifiers from the V series completely change the listening experience of hearing aid users.
While designing the user-friendly V series, simplicity and ease-of-use have always been taken into account. This means the hearing loop drivers are uncomplicated to operate using the rotary knob on the front. The illuminated LCD screen on the front panel ensures that the settings are easy to read during configuration.
Contacta V is very suitable for use in small to medium-sized rooms. The compact V-amplifiers can be used freestanding or can be installed in a 19” rack using the MBR-V1 or MBR-V2 mounting brackets, which makes application very versatile. With a range of voltage options, the ultra-efficient V-series offers the variety needed to create a loop for every room. The V15a even has two outputs with Euro block connectors, so that even for complicated loop systems only a single amplifier is required. These hearing loop drivers are therefore ideal for use in, among others, the applications below.
