The Ashly digiMIX24 is an 24 channel digital mixing desk and audio processor. It’s part of the digiMIX series. The digiMIX24 mixing desk has 24 inputs and 14 output busses.
The best of two worlds
A big advantage of the Ashly digiMIX24 is the possibility to control the device the traditional way, using the physical buttons, meter bridge and a motorised precision-recall Alps 100mm fader. In addition however, it’s also possible to control and configure the device, using a 7″ LCD touchscreen. This provides a versatile, real time mix experience. It’s easy to navigate through the various menus and you can quickly adjust the settings. Via the touchscreen you have full control over the mixing desk. It can, for instance, be used for initial setup, assigning channels and monitoring fader status. Use the free digiMIX app on your iPad voor remote control. The app gives you full control from any point in the room.
The mixer is equipped with 16 discrete, programmable Ashly Class A mic pre’s with LED indication and +48V phantom power. A USB 2-track interface can be used for recording and playing back audio. The digiMIX24 has 8 auxiliary channels with Pre-Post modes, but can also be adapted to 4 AUX outputs and 4 AUX subgroups. Each AUX channel has its own output, with individual dedication to main. Two stereo multi-effect processors make as much as 104 effects possible, like reverb, delay and chorus. The delay can be applied to all in- and outputs, with a max of 300ms. 6 DCA groups, AutoMix mode and a DSP with, amongst others, 31-band GEQ in all AUX and main outputs, make the digiMIX24 a compact but versatile mixing desk. In the end, these are only some examples of the possibilities that the digiMIX24 has to offer.
Suitable for beginners and professionals
In normal mode, the digiMIX24 is very suitable for audio professionals. The mixing desk does, however, also offer the intuitive, safe and uncomplicated EZ-mode, tailored to beginners with no technical background. This EZ-mode can be protected by password, meaning most settings can´t be adapted. Using this mode, it´s convenient to use the device directly for meetings and presentations in offices, for example. Experts can use EZ-mode for more convenience and efficiency.
Ashly digiMIX24 is very suitable for mixing live sound in small performance spaces and it can also be used in places of worship and schools. In addition, the digiMIX24 is very usable for recording in studios.
Dante and USB expansion
The digiMIX24 is capable of using Dante or USB, by means of optional modules. For the Ashly digiMIX24, these are the Dante-32 and the USB-32. The Dante-32 module provides 32 digital inputs and 24 digital outputs, making it possible to send and receive audio over a Dante network. The USB-32 module offers the possibility to make a multi-track recording of a performance, alter this on your PC to play it back in 24-bit audio, via USB connection.
