nX serie
The Ashly nX8002 is part of the nX series. It is the base model of the range of power amplifiers. The other versions are the nXe that is network enabled and the nXp that is network enabled with a DSP. De nX series are available in 2 and 4 channels.
The nX amplifiers are class D amplifiers that comes with a multi-mode. With the multi-mode you have the ability to set the output per channel to deliver 2 ohm, 4 ohm, 8 ohm, 25 volt, 70 volt or 100 volt. With this programmable output per channel you will no longer need a seperate amplifier to power both low-z and constant voltage solutions.
The nX amplifiers also comes equipped with a EMS system (Energy Management System) that provides an automatic sleep-mode. When no activity is detected the amplifier will go in a sleep mode. When in sleep-mode it draws less then 1 Watt.
Ashly nX8002
The Ashly nX8002 is a 4 channel power amplifier. Per channel it delivers 800 watts however when using the 4 and 8 ohm output you will get 1600 Watts per channel. Next to the programmable output it is also possible to active a hi pass filter and a limiter. It is also possible to control the input gain through the dip switches. If you want you could remote control the current of the inputs separatly.
Installation
The nX8002 can be installed in a 19 inch rack. The inputs are equipped with Neutrik XLR and Euroblock connectors. The outputs are equipped with Neutrik SpeakOn connectors.
