RCS Coaxial series
The Penton RCS5/TCOAX is part of the RCS Coaxial ceiling speaker series. These ceiling speakers comes equipped a mid-range driver and a seperate tweeter. Due to this 2-way system the quality of the sound increases with more depth and warmth.
The speaker is equipped with a 100V transformer. It can therefore be used with 100 volt sound systems. It is the perfect choise to use in background systems and vocal solutions to be used for in example shops, schools, hotels, offices and restaurants.
With high quality materials and a discreet design these speakers can be used in almost every situation. The color of these speakers are white (RAL9016) so that it can be used with standard ceilings.
The Penton RCS5/TCOAX
The Penton RCS5/TCOAX comes equipped with a 140 millimeter mid-range driver and a 25 millimeter seperate tweeter. The speaker has a RMS of 10 Watts and with the 100V transformer it can be tapped to 10, 5, 2.5 or 1.25 Watts depending on the requirements. The SPL of the speaker is 91 dB at 1 watt @ 1 meter. The frequency is 70 Hz to 18.5 kHz.
It is possible to install the speaker inside rooms that have a high humidity as it has a IP21 rating. You can also use these speakers inside cleanroom environments when using the optional clean room cover.
Installation
The installation of this speaker is very simple. First you need to make a hole with a diameter of 160 millimeter. Next you need to install the bracket and fasten it in the ceiling. After the bracket is installed you can then connect the speaker to the bracket by using the spring. This leaves enough space to connect the speaker to the sound system. When the speaker is connected you can connect the other side of the bracket en gently push the speaker home in the bracket.
