SoundTube IPD-CM series

SoundTube IPD-CM is a series of white in-ceiling loudspeakers. These loudspeakers are based on the CM-BGM series and is designed for efficiency, high music quality and extra bass, just like this series. The advantage of the IPD-CM series is that it also offers the convenience of Dante control and management. The loudspeakers from this series are all individually addressable and self-monitoring. And, because these loudspeakers are set up and managed via Audinate’s Dante Controller Software, zoning is easy. Also, there’s no need to re-wire anything if system requirements change.

PoE, PoE+ and non-PoE

A single CAT5 or CAT6 cable brings the audio signal, control functions and up to 40 watts per channel to a loudspeaker. They can be connected to a SoundTube STNet-Switch, or another standard PoE(+) switch. For power supply in non-PoE installations, the loudspeakers can also be connected to a 24 volt DC barrel connector.

Safe and sturdy

The steel grilles and galvanized steel back cans make the IPD-CM loudspeakers very sturdy. Using SoundTube’s included  SpeedWing mounting system and the steel tile bridge, the loudspeakers can be installed in plasterboard and suspended ceilings quickly, easily and safely. For situations where even more safety is needed or required, the loudspeakers are equipped with three extra anchorages.

Suitable for various IP-Dante applications

SoundTube IPD-CM is very suitable for background music and also for paging. The grille is seamless and magnetic. The loudspeakers come in white, but the grilles can easily be painted and thus fit in any interior. This means that the series can very well be used in, among others, the following applications. The grille is optionally available in black.

Expand with non-Dante

The loudspeakers are specifically designed for IP addressable audio networks and use on Dante audio platforms, so they can communicate with other Dante audio devices through ethernet. The two IPD4 loudspeakers from the IPD-CM series even make it possible to add non-Dante SoundTube loudspeakers to an audio installation. Up to three additional loudspeakers can run of a single SoundTube IPD4 loudspeaker. This offers an economical way to expand audio coverage in a Dante system.
