In the heart of Maastricht, where history meets modern elegance, Hotel Maison Maastricht – Handwritten Collection has opened its doors. This five-star boutique hotel combines classic charm with contemporary comfort, offering guests a luxurious experience in a building full of character. To create the perfect atmosphere, a high-quality, wireless audio solution from Spottune, supplied by Tau Audio Solutions, was chosen.
Sound that blends into the design
A key part of the hotel is Coley’s Bar, where experience and ambiance are paramount. The goal was clear: an audio concept that fits seamlessly with the interior, both technically and aesthetically. The solution chosen was an installation with Spottune Omni Track speakers, integrated into the existing 3-phase track. This design allows the audio system to merge with the lighting, creating a sleek and stylish result.
Modern AV equipment was also installed in the breakfast area, Anna’s, and the Brillat Savarin meeting room, giving the hotel a complete sensory experience that matches its five-star status.
Wireless convenience in a monumental building
Since Hotel Maison Maastricht is housed in a historic building, minimizing invasive cabling was essential. The wireless Spottune technology provided the ideal solution, allowing modern audio technology to be integrated without altering the building—a perfect balance between innovation and heritage preservation.
The installation includes:
- 4x Spottune Omni Track Speaker with covers
- 1x Spottune Subwoofer
- 1x Spottune Streamer
A SONOS Port is connected to the Spottune Streamer as the audio source. This ensures seamless integration with the hotel’s existing infrastructure, allowing guests to enjoy consistent, high-quality sound throughout.
